Welcome, this time I will give a tutorial on how to use the remove outdated content tool from Google which is useful for removing the content we see in Google searches, for example, the content still appears in search but if we click on the link the content has no content or is very different from the description which exists.
This tool is useful for internet users who have a google account to be able to report content that has incorrect information or content that does not exist, if it has been verified the reported content will be lost or replaced with a different description or snippet if the reported url is an article from a google search and the report will be given to the owner of the website where the content is located.
Alright, let's just start using the tool by opening the tool by searching for it on google with the keyword "Remove outdated content" or via the link below

After you open it and it looks like below, let's make a new request(Box1)
After we click on new request(Box1) a window will appear to create a report as shown below, as you can see there will be two types of choices that we can make, the first request(Box1) is a page and the second(Box2) is an image, both require a url of the element that is intended to function

We start from the first that is page(Box1) like the picture above there will be a box where we put the url of the page we want to report(Box3) after the url we paste is verified the submit button(box4) will turn blue meaning the reporting process can be done
Next, a display like the image above will appear, we have to fill in (Box1) which sentence is wrong in the article where we read, usually you can get it from the description displayed in the search, if the description sentence is different from the content of the article inside, the reporting process can be processed .
Easy isn't it, now we just need to wait for our request to be processed if our request is rejected I will explain below why after I discuss another option of this tool, which is reporting images
Report pictures
Next is how to report an image, please make a new request as above and we select an image (Box1), as shown below
In this option there will be two uses the first(Box2) is used if we find the image we want to report is in an article while the second(Box3) is used if we find the image we want to report is in a google search
Well, let's just start how to use it from the first that is the image that is reported in an article, first let's get the url of the image that is displayed by
Right click on the image until an option like the image above appears (Box1) then we select copy the image link (Box2) after we copy it, let's paste it into the remove outdated content tool, after that we go back to the website and copy the url of the article where the image was located (Box3)
Next we paste the URL of the article into the containing page url(Box2) while the link from the image that we copied the first time then we put it in the image url(Box1) as shown below
if we have pasted the url like the example above the submit button (Box3) should already be blue and can be clicked.
After you click the display will change as shown below
We click send request(Box1) wait a while the request has been sent
Next we go to the second option if we find the image we want to report is on Google search, precisely in the image category like the example below
After the image we want to report already exists, then we just need to right click until the options appear as shown above (Box1)
remember not to click or select the image so that the display changes, you just need to right click on the image like the example above
After that let's copy the link address(Box2) remember instead of the link from the image.
Well now we have the image link that we copied earlier, then we return to the remove outdate content tool and then we paste the link in the second option, enter the link copy address (Box1) and paste it in the space provided (Box2)
If it has been pasted, then we click submit (Box3) and then a display will appear like the first choice, we click send request.
the report will be processed immediately, you can see from the image below, that is, if we use the first option (Box1) that is the image contained in the article and the second option (Box2), that is if the image found in google search has the same format, taht is the image link (box3) and links to articles or other content where the image is (Box4)
The last one is the status of the report that we made earlier, there will be 5 categories that I will discuss
1. Pending: it means that the report that we created is in process
2. Approved: our report request has been approved and you can see the results on google search
3. Denied: our request was rejected for several reasons and we can send it again, for reasons of not receiving our request you can read it via the link below
4. Expired : artinya adalah permintaan yang sebelumnya kita kirim berhasil diterima tapi sekarang sudah tidak lagi dan kalian harus mengirim permintaan ulang kembali biasanya terjadi karena permintaan kita sudah lebih dari 6 bulan
5. Cancelled : artinya permintaan dibatalkan entah kita atau si pemilik konten
