This time I will give a simple tutorial how to add color to an object as a whole or by part(Face) in Blender
As I said this tutorial is very simple, we only need to color the existing objects without having to use UV mapping or texturing which requires images or textures and special ways to add them.
Let's start with the first one, coloring all parts of the object
After the blender is open, there will definitely be a basic object that is a cube as shown below
This cube is what we will color, first we make sure the cube is selected(box1) then we change the view to viewport shading or render view(box2) so that the color change is immediately visible then we look at the properties(box3) then look for material(box4) like the picture above, this is where we can color the existing object by creating a new material (box5) then click new (box6)*see picture above
until the display changes, see the image below
Next you just need to choose the color you want(box1) the cube object will automatically change color(box2)
the next thing is to give color to one surface or face
As before, we noticed that the cube has been selected and has at least one color(box1) as shown below
Next we change the mode to from object(box2) to edit mode(box3) .
Next let's add color to each selected Face as shown below
First of all, we first click the icon(box1) button to select a face. If we have selected a face like the example above, then we go to material(box2) and then we add a new material(box3) and then new, the method is the same as above. Then we select the color we want (box4), finally we click the assign button (box5), the selected color will be applied immediately as shown below.
OK, so this tutorial is easy, right, then if you want each face to have a different color, all you have to do is select another face after the previous face and then give it a different color (box1) as shown below
Until here the tutorial this time, if anyone wants to ask please comment below, thank you for visiting, see you in the next article.
