If you already have the required WPS software, then let's open wps or create a new docx file in file explorer and then open it in the wps writer application as shown below
By left-clicking in the file explorer then clicking new(box1) then selecting docx document(box2) after the file is created and then opening it with wps writer(box3) or double clicking the file(box4)

Then directly add a dropdown menu into the document file by clicking where the drop down will appear (box1) then we look for it in the insert toolbox (box2) above, then we look for the dropdown button or option on the top right (box3) after the option is clicked it will there is a display similar to a box (box4) as shown below
After the drop down has been successfully created (box4), then we will set it by double clicking the box so that options appear as shown below
I will explain a little about the features in the drop down menu as shown above, starting with the 3 options on the right
(box1) there is add to add options, edit to change options and delete to delete the next selection
(box2) fill the place where the last choice was made
(box3) up and down arrows to set the order of selection
After finishing setting the options as desired then we click OK.
After the menu disappears, you must have seen that in the previous box, there are already the first words (choice) (box4) *see the image above from the drop down menu that we set but there is no other option to view or create a drop down menu what is complete, you have to move the wps writer mode to protect form (box1) as shown below
After the mode is changed you can see the drop down menu is complete (box2).
As you already know, if we activate the protect form, we can no longer edit the existing text, but if the protect form is disabled, we can re-edit the existing text. And the finished drop down menu will not be able to be used if the file is changed to another type such as pdf or others that do not have a protect form.
