The advantage of the symbol feature Google Doc has more databases of symbols than similar applications such as Microsoft Office, especially Google Doc has the option to draw symbols that are intended to make it easier for users.
so that users can use the symbol in question even though they don't know the name because there are so many symbols on the internet today and remembering the names of the symbols is not an easy job.
Alright, let's start with how to use it, first of all you have to have a google account after that open the google doc website on search engines or it can also be via this link google docs
After the website opens, then you create a new document so that the display changes as shown below
If the web display has changed as shown above, then let's open the special character tool by clicking insert (box1) then we look for special characters (box2) or use the shortcut ALT + I + C after we click the windows tool will appear as shown below
Well now you know how to open the tool above, next of course look for the special character we want, there are several ways that can be used to find and use the symbol we want.
I start from an explanation of the use of the 2 options in this tool that is symbol(box1) or category and arrow(box2) or sub categories before we start to the next stage, which is looking for special symbols using search(box3) or drawing(box4) See the picture below on

Using these two options will make it a little easier for us if we already know what category the special character we want belongs to, so it's still less effective then we will use the drawing feature.
How to use it is quite easy, we only need to draw the desired symbol using the mouse, stylus pen (pen tablet), or finger via the touch screen into the provided field (box1).
By using Optical character recognition (OCR) or Google's excellent image detection capabilities. The drawn character can still be recognized even though the image is not neat, making it easier for us to find the character in question (Box2).
The last one is search, why i put search the last because using this feature can indeed make it easier for us but only if we already know what the desired character is called, so it's not good.
As shown above, the character will appear (box1) only if we have written in detail (box2) the name of the character, but this search feature is also useful if we already know in detail the information on the character in question by approaching or clicking on the character in question. (box3) as shown above.
The image above (box3) displays complete information on existing characters such as name and code data, this data code can make it easier for us if we search for the specific character we want by rewriting the code in the search as shown below.
